August 9, 2018 is the four-year anniversary of the unrest and rioting in Ferguson, Missouri, after 18-year-old Michael Brown was killed in a struggle with then-Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson.
A tiny percentage knew anything about Ferguson, Missouri until that day. The whole world soon knew about this small St. Louis suburban city.
Nick Kasoff is a Ferguson resident and businessman. He witnessed the rioting first-hand. Nick already was involved with Ferguson issues but was an activist when a new City Charter was written.
Now he’s a candidate for the top position in countywide office, which Simon Says will feature in a future interview.
